Report burned vehicle in Peñuelas

PEÑUELAS – A burning vehicle was reported, this in the early hours of Saturday, September 19, 2020, events that occurred in the Santo Domingo neighborhood in Peñuelas.

According to information received by the Command Center Personnel, it was received by calling the 911 Emergency System about a suspicious situation (smoke) in Parcelas Santo Domingo 2.

Police officers assigned to the Peñuelas District went to 10th Street, where the plaintiff Keishla Dávila was interviewed, who alleged that someone set fire to her motor vehicle, Toyota, a Corolla model, a cream color from 1995.

Firefighters from Peñuelas attended the scene and extinguished the fire. Related to the vehicle, it was completely consumed. In the place, a red container was found to deposit gasoline, which contained a liquid inside.

The complaint was initially investigated by agent Pedro Camacho of the Peñuelas Precinct and the Explosives Division was informed, where agent Collazo would go to the place. The taking of photos and gathering of evidence is in charge of the agent Nilsa Caraballo from Technical Services.
