
The medical task force that advises the government on the emergency of the coronavirus and the Secretary of the Department of Health, Lorenzo González met today in La Fortaleza in the face of the new executive order expected to be announced by Governor Wanda Vázquez.
The current order expires this Saturday, August 15.
Among the recommendations that did the team look at how the situation is being handled in places that are currently open, such as shopping centers.

According to figures from the Department of Health, the Island adds up to today 24,446 cases of COVID -19 and 306 deaths between confirmed and probable.
This week, González acknowledged that the figures recorded in Puerto Rico during the last weeks will cause the country to continue for the next few weeks under the same restrictions imposed in the Executive Order that is in force until this Saturday.
Among the recommendations made by the team is to look at how the situation is being handled in the places that are currently open, like shopping malls.
