SER from Puerto Rico managed to raise $ 1,877,230 in the 46th edition of its annual Telethon, which was held today at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum. After the official closing of the event, the urban artist made an unexpected donation of $ 100,000, raising the amount of collections to $ 1,977,230.
With this high number of donations, SER celebrated its 70th anniversary as an institution, which serves thousands of people on the island with disabilities or autism. Although the pandemic could not carry out the event with the presence of the public and participants, it was broadcast by WAPA TV, WAPA América, Telemundo, WIPR, Univisión, Mega TV and Telecinco, with virtual participation and through recorded messages of various artists.
