Several flood warnings are issued in towns in the northeast of the Island


The rains that have reached Puerto Rico today due to the passage of a tropical wave have caused the National Meteorological Service in San Juan (SNM) to issue several flood warnings for multiple towns.

After 9:00 am In the morning, Bayamón, Cataño, Guaynabo, San Juan, Toa Baja and Trujillo Alto were under the flood warning until 11:00 am

“A flood warning means that the flows of rivers or streams are high, or accumulations of water in urban areas or other areas are occurring or are imminent. Turn around, don't cross when you find flooded roads. Most of the deaths in floods occur in vehicles ”, indicates the SNM.

Other towns under warning are Canóvanas, Carolina, Loíza and Río Grande.
