Some 73 patients remain in intensive care for COVID-19

The Department of Health reported 73 patients who remain in an Intensive Care Unit after being hospitalized for COVID-19, according to the agency’s digital dashboard.

Of these, about 67 patients remain connected to a ventilator.

At the moment, the total of people hospitalized for the coronavirus remains at 377.

Similarly, Health reported this morning eight deaths confirmed by COVID-19 in Puerto Rico, raising the total to 477 since the pandemic began in March.

̄In addition, the agency registered 32 confirmed cases and 17 probable cases.
