The presiding judge of the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico, Maite Oronoz Rodríguez ordered on Friday, the publication of the salaries in the Judicial Branch.

“Access to information and transparency characterize the Judicial Branch of Puerto Rico. Along these lines, the Presiding Judge of the Supreme Court, Maite Oronoz Rodríguez, ordered the publication on the internet portal of the salaries of all officials of the Judicial Branch, ”reads a statement from the Court Administration Office.

The information of the over 4,600 judicial employees began to be collected after the presiding judge understood that the public claim demanding the disclosure of the salaries of government employees encourages healthy administration and is compatible with the public policy that has been promoted since she took the reins of the Judicial Power.
