The Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico will resume its operations, regularly, next Monday, August 3, its president Jorge Iván Vélez Arocho reported this afternoon.
Until then, the academic and administrative recess in the precincts of Arecibo, Mayagüez and Ponce will remain in force.
However, the president clarified that the employees of the Physical Plant of the three facilities must report tomorrow, Friday, July 31, at the usual time to enable the campus .
“Our team of the Institutional Emergency Committee continues to be active and we are evaluating the three campuses to carry out the cleaning and rehabilitation efforts. Likewise, we have been very attentive to the particular needs of our employees. We will be resuming work, on a regular schedule, next Monday, "said Vélez Arocho in written statements.
