The Department of Health added in its most recent report 113 confirmed cases and another 132 probable cases of coronavirus (Covid-19), bringing the totals for each category to 2,351 confirmed and 6,786 probable.
With these new results, the total number of infections registered in the Island amounts to 9,137.
Meanwhile, without additional deaths, the total number of confirmed deaths amounts to 64 and the probable deaths remain at 95, therefore, the total number of deaths continues at 159.
Results of the confirmed cases of Covid-19 correspond to 1,163 women and 1,188 men, for a total of 2,351. The total number of confirmed cases was adjusted, after adding three cases, with sampling dates of June 8, 12 and 23, respectively.
The new cases reported are those that have a positive molecular test (PCR), with sample date from June 25 to July 7.
On the other hand, 132 additional probable cases were registered with a sample collection date from June 26 to July 7. In this line, the total is 6,786, after being adjusted, by subtracting four cases that had a positive molecular test, later, and added to the cases registered as part of this report.
In addition, 31 probable cases with Sample dates from May 7 to June 23. The probable cases are divided into 3,626 women and 3,160 men.
The adjustments in totals are made as part of an effort by the Department of Health, entities and clinical laboratories to ensure that all samples made for Covid-19 are recorded in the Bio Portal, regardless of the date it was taken.
