fatalities reported today were listed as confirmed. They correspond to a 45-year-old woman from the Bayamón region and two men, aged 69 and 28 from the Bayamón and Arecibo regions, respectively.
With the additional fatalities, the total number of confirmed deaths is 90 and the probable deaths remain at 101. Health clarified that the change in the number of deaths should not be interpreted as having occurred in the last 24 hours, like the new cases reported.
On the other hand, the total results of confirmed cases Covid-19 is 4,794. This was adjusted by adding two cases; one with a sample collection date of July 2 and another with a sample collection date of July 3. Of this total, 2,415 are women and 2,379 men.
The reported cases are those that have a positive PCR test, with a sample collection date of July 6 to 21.
On the other hand, 272 cases were registered additional probabilities, with a sample collection date from July 6 to 21.
In this line, the total is 9,173, after being adjusted, by subtracting 24 cases that had a positive molecular test, later, and they were added to the cases registered as part of this report. Likewise, 26 cases were added with a sample collection date of June 9 to July 2. Probable cases are divided into 5,008 women and 4,165 men.
On the other hand, Salud reported in its 'dashboard' a new record number of hospitalizations for Covid-19, with 460 patients in hospitals.
