The number of confirmed and probable cases of Covid-19 rises to 15,431 | government


The Health Department report did not report deaths from Covid-19; meanwhile, 179 confirmed cases and 99 additional probable cases were registered.

Meanwhile, the agency reported in its 'dashboard' 509 hospitalized by the virus, which represents a 13 hospitalizations increase compared to yesterday's figure.

Of the 509 people hospitalized, there are 66 intensive care patients and 37 ventilator patients. No pediatric patient is hospitalized for the virus.

The total results for Covid-19 confirmed cases is 5,416, which was adjusted by adding one case with a sampling date of April 13. Of this total, 2,721 are women and 2,695 men. The reported cases are those that have a positive PCR test, with a sample collection date of July 13 to 24.

On the other hand, 99 additional probable cases were registered, with a sample collection date from 14 to July 24, 2020. In this line, the total is 10,015, after being adjusted, by subtracting 18 cases that had a positive molecular test, subsequently, and were added to the cases registered as part of this report. Similarly, 27 cases were added with a sample collection date from May 10 to July 6. Probable cases are divided into 5,464 women and 4,550 men; one case remains under investigation in the area of ​​sex.

Without additional fatalities, the total number of confirmed deaths remains at 99 and the probable number is 102, so the total number of deaths is 201.
