The traditional and emblematic Christmas Lighting returns in Humacao

Humacao – Under the slogan “Lighting Christmas in Humacao with Peace and Hope”, the mayor, Luis Raúl Sánchez Hernández announced that the long-awaited Christmas lighting will be celebrated again. This would be the nineteenth Christmas lighting, which due to the pandemic, this year will be held virtually through Facebook Live of the Autonomous Municipality of Humacao, on November 6, 7 and 8, 2020. The live broadcast will begin, on Friday, November 6, at 7:00 p.m. with the traditional Lighting of the Christmas Tree and Christmas pictures in the Plaza de Recreo, Luis Muñoz Rivera, on Saturday, November 7, at 4:00 a.m. In the afternoon, the “Jíbara Mass” will be held at the Dulce Nombre de Jesús Cathedral with the artistic participation of the Troubadour Mariano Cotto and on Sunday, November 8 from 7:00 pm, the artistic show and the grand closing with sacred music. The invited artists are Conciencia Musical, Joenuel Lebrón, René González, Nimsy López and Samuel Hernández.
