The Health Department report reported two deaths from Covid-19; meanwhile, 137 confirmed cases and 107 additional probable cases were registered.
With this, they add up to 10,379 confirmed and probable cases.
Meanwhile, the agency reported in its 'dashboard' 254 hospitalized by the virus, which represents a an increase of 48 hospitalizations compared to yesterday's figure.
Of the 254 people hospitalized, there are 18 patients in intensive care and 11 with ventilators. No pediatric patient is hospitalized for the virus.
The additional deaths, both confirmed, correspond to a 97-year-old woman from the Ponce region and a 72-year-old man reported in the Metro region. With these additional fatalities, the total confirmed deaths add up to 75 and the probable deaths remain at 96, therefore, the total number of deaths is 171.
According to the Department of Health, the change in the number of deaths should not be interpreted like these have happened in the last 24 hours. It was established that any death recorded after the report is issued will be reflected in subsequent reports.
The total of the results of the confirmed cases of Covid-19 is 3,043. Of that total, 1,531 are women and 1,512 are men; however, the total was adjusted by adding two cases with a sampling date of June 5 and 30. The reported cases are those that have a positive PCR test, with a sample date of July 3 to 11.
On the other hand, an additional 107 probable cases were registered with a sample collection date from July 1 to 11. of 2020. In this line, the total is 7,336, after being adjusted, by subtracting six cases that had a positive molecular test, subsequently, and added to the cases registered as part of this report. Similarly, 16 cases were added with a sample collection date of June 29. Probable cases are divided into 3,938 women and 3,398 men.
