There are 12,940 confirmed and probable cases of Covid-19 on the Island | government

The Health Department report did not report deaths from Covid-19; meanwhile, 235 confirmed cases and 252 additional probable cases were registered.

With this, there are 12,940 confirmed and probable cases.

Meanwhile, the agency reported in its 'dashboard' 375 hospitalized by the virus, which represents a 39 hospitalizations increase compared to yesterday's figure.

Of the 375 people hospitalized, there are 40 intensive care patients and 24 ventilator patients. No pediatric patient is hospitalized for the virus.

Without additional fatalities, the total confirmed deaths remains at 81 and the probable deaths add up to 99, so the total number of deaths is 180.

The total results of Covid-19 confirmed cases is 4,255, which was adjusted by adding nine cases with a sample collection date of July 1. Of this total, 2,168 are women and 2,087 are men. The reported cases are those that have a positive PCR test, with a sample collection date of July 8 to 17.

On the other hand, 252 additional probable cases were registered, with a sample collection date from 7 to July 18, 2020. In this line, the total is 8,685, after being adjusted, by subtracting 17 cases that had a positive molecular test, subsequently, and were added to the cases registered as part of this report. Probable cases are divided into 4,714 women and 3,971 men.
