
The Department of Health report did not report deaths from Covid-19; meanwhile, 353 confirmed cases and 352 additional probable cases were registered.
This adds up to 22,821 confirmed and probable cases accumulated since the pandemic began.
Meanwhile, the agency reported 423 hospitalized by the virus in its dashboard.
Of the 423 people hospitalized, there are 77 intensive care patients and 50 with ventilators. No pediatric patient is hospitalized for the virus.
With no reported fatalities, confirmed deaths total 161 and probable deaths are 118, therefore, the total number of deaths is 279.
On the other hand, the total of the results of confirmed cases of Covid-19 is 9,319. The total was adjusted after subtracting two duplicate cases with a sampling date of July 17 and 27. On the other hand, 34 cases were added with a sampling date of July 13 to 23. Of that total, 4,747 are women and 4,572 men. The reported cases are those that have a positive PCR test, with a sample collection date from July 24 to August 7.
As part of the report, 352 additional probable cases were registered, with a sample collection date that includes from July 28 to August 7. In this line, the total is 13,502, after being adjusted, by subtracting 55 cases that had a positive molecular test, later, and were added to the cases registered as part of this report. Similarly, 18 cases were added with a sample collection date from May 6 to July 22. Probable cases are divided into 7,403 women and 6,099 men; four cases are under investigation in this line.
