There are 314 hospitalizations due to coronavirus on the Island | government


The Department of Health reported today on its website 314 patients hospitalized for Covid-19, a reduction of 10 compared to yesterday’s figure.

A minor in intensive care for several weeks remains connected to a ventilator. Health has only reported that it is a teenager. Meanwhile, another pediatric patient is in intensive care.

Meanwhile, 52 adults are in intensive care and 35 are connected to a ventilator.

The country’s health system currently has 3,314 beds for adults, 184 intensive care beds and 778 ventilators. It also has 918 pediatric beds, 62 intensive care beds and 109 pediatric ventilators.

Health reported today 213 confirmed cases, 169 probable infections and five additional deaths. Now Puerto Rico has reported 27,004 confirmed cases, 27,230 probable and 735 deaths since March 13, when the first cases were reported.
