There are 378 hospitalizations for coronavirus on the Island | government


The Department of Health reported today on its portal 378 patients hospitalized for Covid-19, the same figure as yesterday.

Three pediatric patients remain hospitalized in intensive care for the virus, while two of them are connected to a ventilator.

Meanwhile, 59 adults are in intensive care and 43 are connected to a ventilator.

The country’s health system currently has 2,979 beds for adults, 180 intensive care beds and 752 ventilators. It also has 907 pediatric beds, 56 intensive care beds and 134 pediatric ventilators.

Health reported today 128 confirmed cases, 60 probable infections and five additional deaths. With this, they add 58,830 confirmed and probable cases accumulated since the pandemic began. Meanwhile, deaths total 774.
