There are 47,422 accumulated confirmed and probable cases of Covid-19 | government

The Department of Health report reported four deaths from Covid-19; meanwhile, 241 confirmed cases and 285 additional probable cases were registered.

With these new cases, there are 648 reported deaths, and 47,422 confirmed and probable cases accumulated since the pandemic began.

The registered deaths were classified as confirmed and are broken down below:

– 92-year-old woman from the Caguas region

– 66-year-old man from the Aguadilla region

– 78-year-old man from the Arecibo region

– 68-year-old man from the Metro region

With these additional deaths, the confirmed deaths add up to 477 and the probable ones are 171, making the total number of deaths 648.

On the other hand, the total of the results of confirmed cases of Covid-19 is 23,357, of which 12,510 are women and 10,847 are men. The total was adjusted after adding 419 cases with a sampling date from March 21 to September 4. The reported cases are those that have a positive PCR test, with a sample collection date of September 16 to 25.

As part of the report, 285 additional probable cases were registered, with a sampling date that ranges from September 14 to 25. In this line, the total is 24,065 after being adjusted, by subtracting 118 cases that had a positive molecular test, later, and were added to the cases registered as part of this report; In addition, 291 cases were added with a sample collection date from May 7 to September 11. Probable cases are divided into 13,406 women and 10,659 men.
