There are 55,516 accumulated confirmed and probable cases of Covid-19 | government


The Department of Health report reported four deaths from Covid-19; meanwhile, 490 confirmed cases and 504 additional probable cases were registered.

With these new cases, there are 742 reported deaths, and 55,516 confirmed and probable cases accumulated since the pandemic began.

The reported deaths were classified as confirmed and are broken down below:

– 76-year-old man from the Bayamón region

– 64-year-old man from the Bayamón region

– 76-year-old man from the Ponce region

– 91-year-old woman from the Bayamón region

With these additional deaths, the confirmed deaths total 561 and the probable ones are 181, making the total number of deaths 742.

On the other hand, the total of the results of confirmed cases of Covid-19 is 27,629, of which 14,875 are women and 12,754 are men. The reported cases are those that have a positive PCR test, with a sample collection date of October 1 to 11.

As part of the report, 504 additional probable cases were registered, with a sampling date that ranges from October 1 to 11. In this line, the total is 27,887 after being adjusted, by subtracting 56 cases that had a positive molecular test, later, and were added to the cases registered as part of this report; In addition, 38 cases were added with a sample collection date from April 13 to September 28. Probable cases are divided into 15,567 women and 12,320 men.
