The Department of Health report reported three deaths from Covid-19; meanwhile, 444 confirmed cases and 156 additional probable cases were registered.
With this, they add to 804 deaths and 63,135 confirmed and probable cases accumulated since the pandemic began.
Of the reported deaths, two were classified as confirmed and correspond to two men, 87 and 89 years old, both from the Metro region. In addition, the probable death of an 83-year-old woman, also from the Metro region, was recorded.
With these additional deaths, the confirmed deaths add up to 612 and the probable ones are 192, making the total number of deaths 804.
On the other hand, the total of the results of confirmed cases of Covid-19 is 32,198, of which 17,348 are women and 14,850 are men. The total number of confirmed cases was adjusted after adding 17 cases with a sampling date from July 12 to October 12. The reported cases are those that have a positive PCR test, with a sample collection date of October 13 to 23.
As part of the report, 156 additional probable cases were registered, with a sampling date that includes October 13-23. In this line, the total is 30,937 after being adjusted, by subtracting 31 cases that had a positive molecular test, later, and were added to the cases registered as part of this report; In addition, 46 cases were added with a sample collection date from May 27 to October 12. Probable cases are divided into 17,267 women and 13,670 men.
