The Electric Power Authority reported that maintenance work would be being carried out this weekend, so the electricity service would be affected in several municipalities on the island.
During this day, the service was temporarily interrupted in different sectors of Ponce and Vega Baja.
Tomorrow, Sunday, the service will be suspended in the following sectors:
- SAN JUAN: College Park Urbanization, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
- AGUADILLA: Villa Montaña Hotel, Martinica Sector, Aguacate Neighborhood, Ramey Base and PR-110 Highway.
- VILLALBA: El Semil, Romero, Jagueyes, Tierra Santa and Zona Urbana, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am The facilities of the Aqueducts and Sewers Authority of Jagueyes, Borinquen and the Police Headquarters will be affected.
- MANATÍ: Casco Urbano, Tierras Nuevas Poniente, Tierras Nuevas Saliente, Luchetti Urbanization, Residencial Los Murales and Bajura Adentro, from 5:00 am and 4:30 pm
