A new schedule for the Puerto Rico National Parks Program spas will operate from July 1 to August 30 reported today by Department of Natural and Environmental Resources ( DRNA).
In a press release, the agency's secretary, Rafael Macharago Maldonado, reported a change that applies to on Saturdays and Sundays, when they will open at 9:30 am at 6:00 p.m.
The schedule from Wednesday to Friday is maintained from 8:30 a.m. at 5:00 pm, as announced on June 15 .
He also pointed out that, as usual, the spas will be closed Monday and Tuesday to carry out maintenance, cleaning and disinfection.
The spas that are open to the public are:
– Boquerón in Cabo Rojo
– Caña Gorda in Guánica
– Cerro Gordo in Vega Alta
– La Monserrate in Luquillo
– Manuel "Nolo" Morales in Dorado
– Punta Salinas in Toa Baja
– Seven Seas in Fajardo
– Sun Bay in Vieques
The executive order in force by COVID-19 states that the parks and spas where the public is received will operate at 50% of their capacity.
The DRNA statement adds that the Isla de Cabras national parks in Toa Baja, Julio Enrique Monagas in Bayamón and Luis Muñoz Rivera in San Juan will continue at the established time.
