San Juan – Jay O’Neill was arrested this Thursday by the Police in the Investigation Room of the Bayamón Judicial Center, charged with the kidnapping and murder of Rosimar Rodríguez Gómez.
O’Neill, 20, had been questioned several times by the police. This Thursday morning he was summoned by the Bayamón Prosecutor’s Office.
Rodríguez Gómez’s body in an advanced state of decomposition was found on Sunday, September 27, 10 days after his abduction in Toa Baja.
The body was in the El Caracol sector in Dorado and a bullet mark was visible on his body.
In addition to O’Neill, the Police indicated that other people are suspected of participating in the kidnapping and murder of Rodríguez Gómez, who was 20 years old.
The day she was kidnapped in front of her house, the young woman had received a message from a person she supposedly knew. In the message he was asked to send the location of where he was.
Rodríguez Gómez was forced to get into a white Suzuki SX-4 vehicle. That car was used by Jay O’Neill, who turned it over to authorities.
