MAYAGÜEZ – Criminal charges against Michael Cruz Journet were presented this Tuesday, related to the murder of the young Luis Lamberty Gaztambide, an incident in which Rosana Acevedo Méndez and Manuel Feliciano Muñiz were wounded, the Police revealed.

Cruz Journet was indicted for other crimes when he was charged with the murder.

According to the investigation of Agent Leslie Candelaria Ramos, of the Homicide Division, on April 3, 2015, on Doctor Basora Street in Mayagüez, the suspect shot several people.

The case was consulted with the prosecutor Pablo Colón, who instructed to file complaints for murder, two assassination attempts, articles 5.04 and 5.15 of the Weapons Law.

Judge Luis Padilla Galeano heard the evidence and found cause against Cruz Journet, setting a bond of 500,000 dollars, which he could not pay, remaining in the Bayamón Prison.
