They file a petition so that Lúgaro’s ex-husband can spend Christmas in freedom

The lawyer Roxanna Soto Aguilu announced that she filed a petition for clemency so that Edwin Domínguez Torres, Alexandra Lúgaro’s ex-husband, can spend Christmas in freedom.

“Edwin Domíguez deserves to be pardoned for his 8-year sentence,” said Soto Aguilu in a video presented on the television program La Comay.

Soto Aguilu commented that last Tuesday, November 17, he filed the petition for executive clemency on the two petitions so that the file reaches the office of Governor Wanda Vázquez Garced.

Domínguez Torres was found guilty on December 6, 2019, for violating a protection order in favor of a minor, by posting photos of Lúgaro’s daughter on his social networks. In addition, he was convicted of three counts of violation of protection orders under Law 54 on Domestic Violence and Law 246 on the Welfare of Minors, in different instances.
