San Juan – The authorities reported on Tuesday about the identification of the body that was found in the early morning on San José street, intersection with Muñoz Rivera avenue in Santurce.

He was identified as David Emanuel Rivera Batiz, 25, a Ponce resident.

The individual was reported to be wearing gray shorts and a black shirt. This one had a tattoo that read “Sophia” and another on his right leg with a caravel design.

The body had several bullet wounds and had on it a piece of cardboard with a message that read “I am responsible for the murder of the guaria. Here it is”.

On the other hand, the executive director of the Institute of Forensic Sciences (ICF), Dr. María Conte Miller reported that the autopsy of the three officers killed in Carolina was completed.

“The Institute of Forensic Sciences completed the autopsies of the police officers Luis Marrero, Eliezer Hernández, Luis Salamán who died yesterday in the line of duty. All autopsy protocols (reports) will be available tomorrow for the authorities investigating the case, ”Conte Miller said in written statements.

The police have not ruled out that a second person will participate in the murders.

The police officers killed on Monday were identified as state official Luis Marrero Díaz, and municipal officials Luis Salamán Conde and Eliezer Hernández Cartagena.

For his part, the designated commissioner of the Police Bureau, Colonel Antonio López, said this Tuesday morning that they will remain in the Luis Lloréns Torres residence until the person who killed the three agents is found.

The person the Police are looking for was captured in several videos during the incidents that culminated in the deaths of two officers from the Carolina Municipal Police and one from the State Police.

Police have not confirmed if the person they are looking for in the death of the three agents is the federal fugitive Carlos Cotto Cruz, known by the nickname Wassa, 33 years old and a Caguas resident.
