They investigate the alleged harassment of the president of WIPR Canal 6

San Juan – The Puerto Rico Police are investigating this Thursday the alleged telephone harassment suffered by the president of the television station WIPR Channel 6, Eric Delgado, as disclosed in a statement.

The statement details that agents, attached to the Hato Rey Oeste Precinct, are investigating a complaint of intimidation reported on Wednesday at 6:00 pm by Delgado.

According to preliminary information, the complainant alleged that he received several calls from a phone with an area code in the state of Michigan, which he did not answer.

Then, allegedly, they sent him several text messages instructing him to respond to the calls, since it was important and even the governor of Puerto Rico, Wanda Vázquez, wanted to contact him.

According to the complainant, he began receiving the messages on October 5.

This incident was consulted with personnel from the San Juan Criminal Investigation Corps for a possible referral of the case.
