Vega Baja – The body of an unidentified person was found at about 6:45 on Tuesday night, in the Yeguada neighborhood, Playita Sarapa sector, on the shore of a beach in Vega Baja, the police confirmed.
According to preliminary information, a call through the 9-1-1 Emergency System alerted authorities to a body lying on the shore of the beach.
When the agents arrived at the scene, they found the body of a man, described as having a white complexion, brown eyes, brown hair, weighing approximately 160 pounds and a height of approximately 5 ”6.
The person was half naked, with turquoise green underwear and a chain around his neck, with a gold medal with a white stone.
The body had bruises in different parts of the body and open wounds in the area of the head and face.
Agent Aníbal Ayala from the Homicide Division of the Vega Baja Criminal Investigation Corps, along with prosecutor Laura Arill, took charge of the investigation.
The body was sent to Forensic Sciences to determine the cause of death.
