Several municipalities in northwestern Puerto Rico are under a flood warning until 5:00 pm today, Saturday.
As reported by the National Meteorology Service (SNM) in San Juan, the towns of Lares, Las Marías and San Sebastián are in danger of registering floods due to the copious rains that are falling at this time in the afternoon.
“At 2:54 pm the Doppler radar indicated heavy rains due to electrical storms. There are minor floods in progress or are expected to begin shortly in the advisory area, ”indicates the SNM.
