They kill two people and injure another in a shooting in Caguas

CAGUAS – Two people were killed and another was injured in a shooting Monday night, on Shufford Avenue in front of the Turabo Heights Residential, in Caguas, police confirmed.

The first victim was identified as Luis Rodríguez Mojica, 31, a resident of the Las Carolinas plots in Caguas, who received multiple gunshot wounds, according to the agents who arrived at the scene.

Later, two individuals with multiple gunshot wounds arrived at the Caguas Mennonite Hospital, both residents of the Turabo Heights Residential.

One of them was identified as Luis Morales Rodríguez, 25, who died while being treated.

The other victim is named Miguel Montañez, 32, who was transferred to the Medical Center in Río Piedras in critical condition.

Agents assigned to the Homicide Division of the Caguas Area Criminal Investigation Corps, together with prosecutor Jaime Perea and Forensic Sciences personnel, took charge of the investigation.
