They murder a businesswoman in San Juan

SAN JUAN – A young businesswoman was killed by several bullets on Saturday night, inside a vehicle in front of a restaurant on Roosevelt Avenue in Hato Rey, police confirmed.

The woman was identified as Isadora Marie Nieves Cruz, 24, a resident of San Juan.

Nieves Cruz, popularly known as Pinky Curvy, was the owner of the company Pinky Summer Beauty, which sells clothes, cosmetics and beauty products online.

On his Instagram accounts, isadoranievez, which has 330,000 followers, and pinkysummerbeauty, with about 31,000 followers, Nieves Cruz promoted his products.

On Saturday night a person called the 9-1-1 Emergency System to alert of detonations on Roosevelt Avenue.

The agents who arrived at the scene found the body of a woman with several bullets, inside a 2017 Gray Toyota Tacoma. The bus had dozens of bullet wounds.

Related to these events, a man, identified as Edwin Rivera, 23, was wounded by a gunshot and was transported to the Río Piedras Medical Center.

According to the preliminary investigation of the incident, unknown persons chased and shot the occupants of the bus, after they left a restaurant in Hato Rey to eat.

The driver of the vehicle tried to escape but eventually lost control and jumped the Roosevelt Avenue islet, stopping in front of a restaurant.

The attackers shot him again and fled. Near the scene of the murder, a car was found abandoned and collided with a fixed object.

The police found bullet shells inside the vehicle. The front glass of the car had bullet holes apparently made from the inside.

The health condition of Rivera is unknown, since Saturday night he has received protection from the Police.

Agents assigned to the Homicide Division of the San Juan Criminal Investigation Corps in conjunction with the prosecutor Omar Domínguez took charge of the investigation.
