SAN GERMÁN – A man was killed by several bullets at around 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, at kilometer 8.5 of Highway 348, in the Rosario Village in San Germán, the Police reported.
Authorities were alerted through a call to the 9-1-1 Emergency System about a person lying on the pavement.
When the patrols arrived at the scene, they found the body of a man described as young and with a dark complexion.
He wore a red coat, gray sweatpants, black tennis shoes, baseball gloves and a black balaclava-type mask.
The person has not been identified.
Bullet casings and a dark gray Toyota corolla were found at the scene.
Paramedics García and Montalvo from the State Medical Emergencies confirmed that the person had no vital signs.
Agent Dixon Rodríguez of the Homicide Division and agent Olfred Ortiz of Technical Services of the Mayagüez CIC are investigating the murder.
