TOA LOW – A woman was murdered and a man shot at around 11:43 p.m. on Wednesday, on Highway 870, next to the Thermoelectric Plant of the Electric Power Authority (PREPA) in Palo Seco, Toa Baja, reported the Police.
A person called the police headquarters in Levittown and reported a woman wounded by a gunshot, next to the PREPA thermoelectric plant.
The agents who went to verify the scene found the body of a woman in her 40s, with several gunshot wounds to her face.
The victim was in the passenger seat of a 2019 Kia Forte, white.
The woman was taken to the Cataño Hospital by municipal paramedics from Toa Baja, where her death was certified.
The occisa was described as having a black complexion and a medium build. He was wearing pants and a shirt, both described as shorts.
Apparently related to these events, a man, identified as Alfonso Ortiz Guardiola, 45, arrived on foot, and wounded, to the main gate of the PREPA Thermoelectric Plant.
Ortiz Guardiola had injuries to the chest and neck. He was transported to the Río Piedras Medical Center in an ambulance.
Several .45 caliber shells were raised at the scene.
