The candidate for governor of the New Progressive Party (PNP), Pedro Pierluisi, arrived early at the Rafael María de Labra school in Santurce to exercise his right to vote. But he was not the only one.
Dozens of citizens saw him go by where they were lined up in a line and yelled at him to line up as well, calling him a rogue.
“Get in line, get in line”, different voices are heard in a video posted on social networks. “Two hours in the sun,” shouted an individual as the palm candidate walked surrounded by cameras and members of the press.
“Row, row, row, row”, they continued chanting during the precession of the candidate to his campaign booth, and even a shout about the corruption in his party was sneaked in. “You go out as you want!” They shouted. “You bastard are going outside!” “We want a change!”
The independentista Juan Dalmau, the candidate of the Citizen Victory Movement Alexandra Lúgaro, and the candidate of the Dignity Project César Vázquez already exercised the vote in their respective schools. So far, in none of the cases has a similar situation been reported.
