SAN JUAN – A woman was scammed by unknown men who threatened that they had her daughter kidnapped, this Wednesday afternoon, the Police reported.
According to Aida Ortega, he received a telephone call in which they indicated that his daughter had been kidnapped and demanded $ 2,000 to release her.
Ortega went to a gas station on Turquesa street in Caimito at about 4:30 in the afternoon and delivered the requested money. He later learned that his daughter had not been kidnapped.
The case was referred to the Property Division of the San Juan Criminal Investigation Corps, who are continuing the investigation.
