Artisans will exhibit their work in several municipalities
To promote Puerto Rican culture, the island’s attractions and boost economic activity, the Puerto Rico Tourism Company (CTPR) will celebrate alongside several municipal governments the sale of artisan crafts between next June 19 and July 10.
The kiosk sales are part of a cultural tourism program of the CTPR, which aims to refocus Puerto Rico’s destination at a domestic and international level by promoting the island’s culture and heritage.
Artisans from each host municipality will participate in the events, organized in compliance with the measures recommended by the government of Puerto Rico and health authorities. The workers will be preparing and exhibiting their items in areas designated by the municipal authorities, with tents and furniture provided by the CTPR.
“The exhibitions and sales of handicrafts are among the most anticipated events by the general public and are an excellent alternative to spend some time of relaxation while supporting the work of our artisans,” said CTPR Executive Director Carlos Mercado.
