It was located 11.92 kilometers south of Peñuelas. The maximum intensity was IV in Yauco.
The depth was three kilometers.

There is no tsunami warning for Puerto Rico.
July 26 was the last time that an earthquake of magnitude 4 had been recorded. This movement is part of the sequence that began in late December 2019. The largest magnitude was registered on January 7.
