Trujillo Alto will do a thousand COVID-19 tests to its residents for free

As a measure to prevent more infections of Covid-19 in Trujillo Alto, the mayor of the Municipality of Trujillo Alto, José Luis Cruz, announced today, October 21, 2020, that from October 26 to 30 and from November 9 to 13 they will be offering free serological tests to its residents.

They will be held from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Family Equestrian Park located on the PR-8860 road.

Those interested should make an appointment through the telephone box (787) 761-0172 extensions 2188 or 2189, from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm or write to the email [email protected], where you will be indicated the date and time that you must arrive at the place. There will be 100 tests per day and attendees must bring their identification card and some document that proves their residence to present it at the entrance.

“We know that it is of the utmost importance that people get tested, since in this way they can detect positives and keep those people in isolation to prevent them from transmitting the virus. Therefore, for this task we hired the Santa Cruz de Dos Bocas clinical laboratory and the Carraízo clinical laboratory, who will be in charge of carrying out the test and will be in charge of delivering the results in a confidential manner, ”said the First Municipal Executive.

The mayor explained that there will be municipal personnel to ensure compliance with the protection measures and that they will have good logistics to avoid the crowding of people, since it will be done through appointments and the person must stay in their vehicle until your turn comes.

“For everything to be carried out in perfect order, it is necessary that the residents follow the proper instructions. We do it to protect you and all the personnel who will work on this initiative ”, underlined the First Municipal Executive.
