At least two employees of the Maritime Transport Authority (ATM) working at the speedboat terminal in Ceiba tested positive for covid-19 coronavirus, confirmed by Primera Hora the press spokesperson for the agency, Sandy Gutierrez.
The news comes at a time when the country is facing increases in the numbers of positive cases for the virus, as well as hospitalizations for this disease.
Gutierrez reported that the box office was closed approximately an hour and a half, "as soon" they became aware of the situation. However, the trips continue.

The employees who tested positive were a supervisor and a ticketer. Meanwhile, covid-19 protocols in the area were activated, added the spokeswoman.
The Health Department reported today, in its morning report, that hospitalizations increased to 206, confirmed cases of covid-19 amounted to 2,904 and the probable ones add up to 7,219.
