The Puerto Ric Seismic Network o reported today that two earthquakes with minutes of difference in the southern area of Puerto Rico were reported this morning.
No surveillance, warning or warning of tsunami as a result of earthquakes.
The first tremor, at 3.78, was recorded 8.89 kilometers southwest of Guánica. Its maximum intensity was felt in Mayagüez and had a depth of four kilometers. It was recorded at 4:49 in the morning.
Meanwhile, the 3.32 magnitude tremor was at 4:54 a.m., about 4.45 kilometers south of Guánica and its maximum intensity was felt in Yauco. According to the Seismic Network, it had a depth of 13 kilometers.
There was another, less intense, 2.94, reported at about 2:01 a.m.
In social networks there are citizens reporting that they felt both in different parts of the island such as Hatillo, Orocovis, Lajas and Cayey, some underlining the coincidence that there are tremors in the months when the island is under tropical storm warning .
