The National Meteorological Service (NWS) issued a flood warning until 6:00 in the afternoon for the municipalities of Aibonito, Arroyo, Cayey, Coamo, Guayama, Salinas and Santa Isabel.  The notice warns of threats of torrential rains and sudden increases in the rivers of the southeast zone, due to the passage of tropical storm Laura that continues to strengthen in its proximity to the Island. According to the latest bulletin from the National Hurricane Center, the The system already reaches sustained winds of 50 miles per hour (mph) and it is reported that in Salinas, winds are already whipping up to 75 mph.
