Vaccination against COVID-19 begins for health professionals in Ponce and Mayagüez


PONCE – The Salvador Dijols Coliseum in Ponce as of today became a vaccination center against COVID-19 for the Ponce Region, which will serve the municipalities of: Adjuntas, Arroyo, Coamo, Guánica, Guayama, Guayanilla, Jayuya, Juana Díaz, Patillas, Peñuelas, Ponce, Salinas, Santa Isabel, Villalba and Yauco.

For its part, the Mayagüez Sports and Recreation Palace will serve the municipalities of: Aguada, Aguadilla, Añasco, Cabo Rojo, Hormigueros, Isabela, Lajas, La Marías, Mayagüez, Maricao, Moca, Rincón, Sabana Grande, San Germán and San Sebastian.

Participants must present identification and / or work credential and employment certification.

The vaccination will be available from Monday to Saturday, with Saturdays exclusively for vaccinating doctors and dentists.

From 7:00 am to 8:00 am it will be for vehicle accommodation in order of arrival, temperature measurement, screening questions and registration.

At 8:00 in the morning the vaccination begins until the maximum capacity is covered.
