The mayor of Humacao, Luis Raúl Sánchez Hernández reported that tomorrow they will be carrying out a servi-car vaccination in the South Terminal of Public Cars, on Boulevard Nicanor Vázquez Avenue.
The service will be given from 9:00 a.m. at 5:00 pm, which will be offered by Vacunas Bright Center.
The municipal executive indicated that most private health plans and all “Advantages” will be accepted, with zero deductibles or copays.
Patients were reported of all ages can go to get vaccinated. Vaccines available with private medical plans are Influenza, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, DTaP, Hib, HPV (Human Papilloma Virus), MCV (Meningitis), Meningo B (Meningitis B), MMR, PCV13 (Pneumonia / Pneumonia), Pneumovax 23 (Pneumonia / Pneumonia), Polio, Rotavirus, Chickenpox, TDAP, and Shingles. Advantage / Medicare Plans: Influenza, PCV13 (Pneumonia / Pneumonia) and Pneumovax 23 (Pneumonia / Pneumonia).
The Vaccine Manager of Bright Center Vaccines, Eric Quirindongo highlighted that they have carried out this activity in around 7 towns and that soon it will take place in Canóvanas.
The service car initiative arises in the face of the emergency caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, in which social distancing must be maintained.
