The voting center at the UPR in Carolina faced problems receiving voters. – Provided

One of the voting centers at the University of Puerto Rico in Carolina had not opened for voters already after 8:00 am, according to a video broadcast on social networks.

The video showed a long line of voters waiting for the opening and an official explaining the situation and asking for patience.

The primary day began with problems. This school, the UPR of Carolina, is an example. The PNP primary had not started at 9:15 am. It is ensured that ballots are still counted.

"I really want understanding, I really do," the official is heard saying to the voters in line.

"I apologize to you," he said.

At the time of this publication, no major inconveniences have yet been reported in the voting center.
