In order to provide support to women to prevent them from being victims of crime and domestic violence events, the Corporation for the Defense of the Holder of Arms License of Puerto Rico (CODEPOLA), will present the first workshop “Calladita, no te ves prettier”. It will be offered by the former governor and former Secretary of Justice, Wanda Vázquez Garced.
The initiative also seeks to provide tools to adolescent and adult women on how to begin to face a protection order process.
The event, which will take place this Saturday, May 15, at the CODEPOLA Training Center in Trujillo Alto, will be cost free and will have a space limited to 30 people per session. The first session will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and the second from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
