Warn about high risk of ocean currents

For today, Sunday, some showers are expected in the east of Puerto Rico in the morning and in the west in the afternoon, reported the National Meteorological Service (SNM) in San Juan.

There is a high risk of ocean currents on the northern beaches of the big island of Puerto Rico and Culebra. Also for the eastern point of Santa Cruz.

Small boat operators should exercise caution due to ocean currents.

The wind blows from the east up to 15 knots, according to the SNM.

The swell in the Atlantic is between three to six feet. In the Caribbean it is between two to five feet.
