With the rigorous protocols you can visit the museums of Caguas

CAGUAS – The Department of Cultural Development of the Autonomous Municipality of Caguas reported this Monday that its Museum Program reopened some of its facilities to the public, complying with the recommendations and guidelines issued by the CDC, OSHA and the Puerto Rico Museum Association, to guarantee the integrity of visitors and employees.

The intention is to offer, within the safety and health protocols, a space for entertainment, recreation and solace to the general public, it was reported in a written statement.

The museums available for visits with prior coordination are the following: Museum of Caguas, Museum of Popular Arts, Museum of Art of Caguas and Casa del Trouvador.

To make visits, citizens must comply with the following instructions:

– Coordination of reservation by telephone with the Tourist Office at (787) 653-8833 extension 2984, 2917; with a minimum of 72 hours in advance of the projected date of the tour.

– Visits will be from 10:00 in the morning to 3:00 in the afternoon, from Tuesday to Saturday.

– Visits have a maximum time of 30 minutes.

– The maximum capacity per museum will be six visitors to comply with social distancing. If you do not arrive on time to the reservation, availability of time will be evaluated on the same scheduled day or it will be rescheduled for a future date according to availability.

All visitors will be subject to the established screening process:

 Use of a mask at all times.
 Taking temperature (100.4 degrees Fahrenheit will not be allowed to enter the facilities).
 Information on trips abroad.
 Questions about symptoms related to Covid-19.
 Disinfection of hands and shoes before entering the facilities.
 The use of gloves is not allowed during the tour of the Exhibition Rooms.
 If the rules are not followed during the tour, the visitor or group will be asked to leave the Exhibition Hall in a manner, in order to ensure the health and safety of everyone in the facility.
