Facing the extraordinary second part of the primaries that will take place tomorrow in various precincts of the Island, the president of the State Elections Commission, Juan Ernesto Dávila, acknowledged that there are no guarantees that the votes will be repeated in the electoral process.
He admitted this with concern in an interview with Noticentro (Wapa TV), in which he called on those who already participated in the primaries last week, to this Sunday do not repeat your vote at the polls.
"I am concerned about the issue of double voting," said Dávila, who, based on the provisions of the Electoral Code, pointed out that party affiliate records remain confidential, which prevents that there are safeguards to avoid double electoral participation.
🔴The president of @CEEPuertoRico has just accepted in @NoticentroWAPA that there is NO guarantee that the voters who and a voted last Sunday DO NOT cross party lines and vote in another primary tomorrow
