Without water Aguada and Moca sectors | government

The director of the Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (AAA) in the Aguadilla area, engineer Nelson Saavedra, reported that subscribers residing in Aguada and Moca have low pressures and interruption of water service due to a line break.

The official explained that brigades are mobilizing to repair the fault in a 12-inch diameter pipeline, located on PR-111.

This failure affected the Culebrinas system and the level of the five million tank, for which the water service was interrupted in both towns.

If no complications occur, the work will conclude at night. The recovery of the water service will be from the early hours of tomorrow.

Given the possibility of turbidity when restoring the service, it is recommended to boil the water intended for human consumption for three minutes.
